Fitness with Savings August 15th

Ciaooo amicos!

For this weeks post I decided that I would include a workout and a tasty treat! Lets face it, who doesn’t enjoy a snack after a work out?

After reading Life Hacker last night I was a little discouraged because he beat me to the punch! The punch being today’s Fitness with Savings post on free fitness videos posted on YouTube. The Internet has made learning and information gathering so much more accessible that knowledge is at our finger tips. The same goes for fitness, the Internet has made going to the gym an alternative. Fitness junkies can access classes and learn new routines by watching videos on YouTube. For women there are tons of Zumba routines, ab videos, cardio warm ups etc. For men there are ab videos, muscle guides and yoga tutorials should they wish to try it out!

A video that I would like to recommend is a running video put together by Sarah Fit. Sarah’s Running Interval Work Out presents a goal of shedding a minute off of your mile pace. And who knows, if you keep it up, challenge yourself, you might find the seconds dripping off of your current PB.
1) 5min cardio warm up
2) 10sec sprint
3) 20sec jog
4) 30sec light jog
5) Repeat from step 2

There after, I am sure you will be craving something… something sweet perhaps? But something healthy. How about a bowl of Chocolate Avocado Pudding! This is a really simple recipe and can be made in under 15mins. There are a wide variety of recipes – however it’s almost the weekend and I needed to use what’s left in my fridge, haha!
